Ripple’s U.S.-regulated stablecoin, RLUSD, began live trading in Türkiye on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, after completing a commercial integration with Inveo Kripto. The first commercial transaction was executed during Turkish trading hours, marking the token’s official entry into the country’s financial ecosystem.
Inveo Kripto, an authorized digital asset bank custody platform licensed for institutional transactions, made RLUSD available across three channels: its native mobile app, desktop web portal, and over-the-counter trading desks for high-volume participants. The multi-channel rollout is designed to improve daily trading liquidity for retail clients while giving high-net-worth investors access to deeper OTC settlement.
The stablecoin is issued under a New York Department of Financial Services trust license and complies with the GENIUS Act. Ripple highlighted that RLUSD is fully backed by fiat reserves and U.S. Treasury cash equivalents, with periodic third-party audits. Inveo Kripto said the integration demonstrates interoperability with conventional banking systems and payment processors.
Turkey has maintained one of the highest per-capita crypto adoption rates globally over the past three years, with many residents using digital assets to hedge against Turkish lira volatility. Ripple and Inveo Kripto expect this regulatory-compliant dollar-pegged asset to capture significant national trading volume and serve as a bridge between European and Asian markets. Ripple representatives are also scheduled to attend regulatory hearings on digital asset classification later in Q4 2026.
