US spot Ethereum exchange-traded funds have recorded roughly $1.08 billion in net outflows through October 20, according to daily flow figures compiled by Farside Investors. The latest trading session added a net $26.1 million of redemptions, following another $103.3 million on October 19.
The month has been dominated by sustained withdrawals, with only a brief positive day on October 13 that was too small to reverse the broader trend. ETF flows are an important window into investment demand, but they reflect creations and redemptions in listed funds rather than every ETH purchase, sale or staking decision across the market.
Against this outflow pressure, buyers have continued to defend support near the $2,400 level. Short liquidations are reportedly increasing ahead of a test of the $2,500 resistance. Traders are watching whether redemptions begin to slow or continue weighing on sentiment, since a meaningful reversal would require more than a single modest inflow.
For now, the fund data documents weaker appetite for listed Ethereum exposure even as developers and financial firms keep expanding the uses of the underlying network.
