Meanwhile, a separate preview of Galaxy’s third-quarter venture report highlighted a split in crypto VC activity: startup valuations rebounded to a record near $90 million, while median deal size fell from a record $4.9 million in Q2 to about $3 million. Pre-seed deals rose to 25% of all rounds, while later-stage companies took roughly 78% of Q2 capital. Galaxy’s data suggests more small early-stage checks are being spread across new teams, but most dollars still flow to mature companies.
