Uniswap has recorded its strongest network growth in roughly six years, according to data shared by Santiment Intelligence. Daily active addresses on the Uniswap network climbed to 14,591, the highest level in the past year. During the same period, 13,137 new UNI addresses were created, marking the largest surge in newly created addresses since September 2020.
The increase in on-chain activity arrived alongside several ecosystem upgrades. Aggregator Hooks now allow external liquidity to be routed through Uniswap v4 infrastructure, while VolatilePair Hooks expanded the scope of dynamic pricing mechanisms. In addition, the planned OP Enterprise upgrade for Uniswap's second-layer network, Unichain, was scheduled for October 29.
Despite the adoption figures, UNI's price has been correcting after a September peak above $10. The token is trading near the $7 level, with immediate support between $6.60 and $6.80, followed by $6.00. On the upside, resistance sits at $7.30 to $7.50, with the 200-day moving average near $7.88 acting as additional overhead resistance.
Santiment identified $7 as the key level for UNI to hold, while a move above $7.50 would be the first confirmation of stronger momentum. If activity remains elevated and support holds, $8 could become a potential target. However, the latest daily active address reading remains well below September's spike, and active addresses alone do not indicate whether users are buying or selling UNI.
