TRON has activated Governance Proposal 108 after receiving formal approval from its Super Representatives, and the native token TRX responded with an approximate 2% recovery over 24 hours, stabilizing around the $0.32 area. The update introduces an optimization in smart contract storage and is classified as a mandatory change for validator nodes, aiming to improve stability and operational consistency while preventing consensus divergences.
From a technical standpoint, TRX reversed upward from strong support at $0.3085, a level that previously stopped the impulse wave in June, and near the lower daily Bollinger Band. The reversal produced a Three White Soldiers candlestick pattern, completing the intermediate impulse wave (C) of the primary ABC correction from late May. With bullish divergence on the daily Stochastic and improved sentiment after the Proposal 108 activation, the next resistance is seen at $0.3250, a former support zone from September and October. A sustained breakout above that area could open targets at $0.33 and $0.34, while losing recent support would leave room for a deeper correction.
TRON’s third-quarter data underscores the network’s activity: it processed approximately 1.1 billion transactions, minted 360.2 million TRX, and burned 234.5 million tokens through its fee mechanism. Stablecoin settlement volume exceeded $2.2 trillion, and native USDT circulation averaged about $90.75 billion. The ecosystem also reported recurring TRX acquisitions exceeding 700 million units by affiliated entities, as well as the rollout of TRX options and the listing of the Canary Staked TRX ETF on Cboe. TRON’s roadmap includes evaluating post-Proposal 108 performance metrics and preparing new security audits for the virtual machine.
