Upbit Announces Major Altcoin Listings: ETHFI, RESOLV, INIT, and SPK to Go Live Today

South Korea's largest cryptocurrency exchange, Upbit, has announced the listing of four new altcoins: Ether.fi (ETHFI), Resolv (RESOLV), Initia (INIT), and Spark (SPK). Trading for these tokens against both Bitcoin (BTC) and Tether (USDT) is scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m. Korea Standard Time (6:00 a.m. UTC) on September 19, 2025.

Deposits and withdrawals for the new tokens are already open, though only KYC-verified users can initiate deposits. For large deposits, the exchange requires documentation verifying the source of funds. ETHFI, RESOLV, and SPK transactions are supported on the Ethereum network, while INIT transactions must be conducted via the Initia network.

To ensure a stable launch, Upbit will implement temporary trading restrictions. For the first five minutes after trading begins, buy orders will be blocked, and sell orders priced more than 10% below the previous day's closing price will be restricted. After this initial window, traders will only be able to place limit orders for the first two hours.

Following the announcement, RESOLV recorded the most notable gains, rising over 6% in the past 24 hours, followed by INIT with 4.75% gains and SPK with roughly 2.5% gains. ETHFI, which initially rallied after the news, was slightly down by 0.37% at press time.
