The Blockchain for Good Alliance (BGA), a non-profit initiative founded by Bybit, and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) AltFinLab are jointly organizing the inaugural Blockchain Impact Forum on November 4–5, 2025, in Copenhagen, Denmark. This two-day event aims to bridge the gap between technology and public-sector policy, focusing on leveraging blockchain innovations to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Day 1 is an invite-only session that will convene policymakers, UN officials, and blockchain pioneers for high-level discussions, panels, and fireside chats. These contributions will form the basis of BGA's inaugural Impact Report, providing a comprehensive overview of blockchain's role in driving social good globally.
Day 2 opens to the public at T13 Nordhavn, featuring live pitches from projects in the BGA incubation program and the SDG Blockchain Accelerator, interactive networking, and the Blockchain for Good Awards 2025, which recognize innovators aligned with the SDGs. Ben Zhou, CEO of Bybit and initiator of BGA, emphasized the event's significance: "Blockchain for Good is not just an idea; it's a systems-level shift building bridges between technologists, governments, and communities to achieve the SDGs."
The forum is supported by major sponsors, including Bybit EU, GSR Foundation, Xion Foundation, Abu Dhabi Blockchain Center, and Mantle Network, with additional sponsors like FLock.io, Hetu Protocol, and Masverse. This collaboration highlights blockchain's growing alignment with sustainable development and could increase interest in related assets such as Ethereum (ETH) and Mantle Network (MNT) post-event, potentially influencing regulatory frameworks and broader adoption.
