Elon Musk's SpaceX has transferred $133.7 million in Bitcoin to new wallets, marking its second significant movement of the cryptocurrency in less than a week, according to data from Arkham Intelligence. The transactions, which occurred on October 24, 2025, involved moving 300 BTC worth $33 million and 915 BTC worth $100.7 million to unmarked addresses, likely as part of a broader asset consolidation strategy.
This follows a previous transfer earlier in the week, where SpaceX moved $268.5 million in Bitcoin (2,395 BTC) after three months of inactivity. SpaceX currently holds approximately 6,970 BTC valued at around $770 million, and the recent shifts are interpreted as efforts to migrate funds to newer, more secure wallets rather than liquidation or accumulation. Market analysts note that the company has not added to its Bitcoin reserves since mid-2022, when it reduced holdings by about 70% following the Terra-Luna collapse and FTX implosion.
In a parallel trend, Tesla, another Musk-led firm, maintains 11,509 BTC worth $1.24 billion, having sold most of its holdings in 2022. Bitcoin was trading at $110,493.92 at the time of the report, with on-chain activity drawing attention to institutional custody practices. The transfers to Coinbase Prime suggest a focus on enhanced security and portfolio management in the evolving digital asset landscape.
