Strategy Expands Bitcoin Treasury to 641,692 BTC with $49.9 Million Purchase

Strategy, previously known as MicroStrategy, has bolstered its Bitcoin reserves by acquiring an additional 487 BTC for approximately $49.9 million at an average price of $102,557 per coin. The purchase occurred between November 3 and 9, 2025, utilizing proceeds from share offerings such as STRF, STRC, STRK, and STRD.

This move increases Strategy's total Bitcoin holdings to 641,692 BTC, accumulated over time with a total investment of around $47.54 billion at an average cost of $74,079 per Bitcoin. As of the latest data, the company's crypto assets are valued at over $68 billion, translating to unrealized gains of roughly $20.5 billion.

Michael Saylor, executive chairman and co-founder, publicly disclosed the acquisition, noting that the firm has achieved a BTC Yield of 26.1% year-to-date in 2025. The consistent buying strategy includes recent purchases of 397 BTC for $45.6 million last week and 390 BTC in late October.

In parallel, MSTR stock surged 3% in pre-market trading to $249.74, signaling renewed investor confidence despite a six-month decline of 40%. Meanwhile, Bitcoin's price soared above $106,000, marking a 4% recovery in 24 hours, fueled by the Senate's vote to end the U.S. government shutdown and a 45% increase in trading volume.
