The latest weekly user activity report reveals significant shifts in blockchain adoption, with Solana demonstrating the fastest growth among major networks. Solana's active user base increased by approximately 25% in a single week, reaching over 12.8 million users, solidifying its position as a serious challenger to established leaders.
BNB Chain, while still commanding the largest user base at 17.4 million weekly active users, experienced a 13.5% decline, indicating a narrowing gap with competitors. NEAR Protocol maintained a strong presence with 15.7 million users, though it saw a slight decrease of 3.2%.
Polygon staged the most impressive comeback, recording a 64.6% surge in active users to 3.8 million, the highest jump among top networks. Other notable gainers include Aptos, which grew by 11.5% to 4.4 million users, and Jito with a 1.3% increase.
Conversely, several networks faced sharp declines: Sei Network dropped 17.4%, PancakeSwap fell 33.2%, and Uniswap decreased by 19.1%. The data, calculated using HyperLogLog algorithms over a 7-day rolling window, underscores that high-performance Layer-1 chains focused on consumer utility and DeFi efficiency are capturing sustained engagement, while networks reliant on speculative flows are contracting.
