Logos Unifies Codex, Nomos, and Waku Under Single Brand to Launch Privacy-Focused Tech Stack

Logos, a decentralized collective, has consolidated three independent projects—Codex, Nomos, and Waku—into a unified brand to create an integrated technology stack aimed at enhancing privacy and revitalizing civil society. This move brings together over 200 active contributors, 26 repositories, and 18 community chapters globally, streamlining efforts to build a free and open internet.

Each project previously operated separately: Codex developed censorship-resistant durable storage, Nomos built a private Layer 1 blockchain for sovereign coordination, and Waku provided scalable peer-to-peer messaging. The unification under Logos eliminates silos, enabling developers to leverage a modular, plugin-based runtime for decentralized applications that are private by default.

Jarrad Hope, Co-Founder of Logos, emphasized, "Integration unlocks impact. By unifying the technology stack under the Logos identity, we provide builders and communities with a direct path to a private, sovereign digital life without compromise." The consolidation timing aligns with the maturity of individual protocols for storage, messaging, and consensus.

Future plans include a "batteries-included" toolset featuring broad accessibility, high-quality developer documentation, early native applications, and liquidity pathways for non-specialists. Logos targets a public testnet in 2026 and mainnet launch in 2027, with a node program offering rewards for early adopters to support network growth.
