Crypto analysts are painting an extremely bullish picture for XRP, combining technical analysis with growing institutional demand to project a potential surge towards double-digit prices. Analyst Cryptollica published a detailed 2-week chart analysis on December 8, arguing that XRP's current price action is mirroring the structural pattern that preceded its explosive 2017 rally.

The analysis hinges on a pivotal $1.95 level, which is seen as a critical support after being broken. Cryptollica's chart divides XRP's history into mirrored cycles: 2014–2017 and 2021–2025. The current cycle is said to be in the final stage of a breakout phase (Part 2), with the asset poised to enter a "Parabolic Rise – Discovery Phase" (Part 3). If the 2017 fractal repeats precisely, the analyst projects an "implied target" between $9.00 and $13.00. The first major objective, however, is the prior all-time high zone around $3.30–$3.84.

Cryptollica tempers this optimism with cautions, noting that a move to $10+ would imply a colossal market capitalization and that parabolic phases are often accompanied by sharp 30–40% corrections, making them dangerous for leveraged traders. The scenario also assumes supportive fundamentals like regulatory clarity and ETF developments.

Separately, analyst Chad Steingraber highlighted rapidly strengthening institutional demand driven by spot XRP ETFs. He reports that over 506 million XRP have been absorbed into ETF assets under management in less than a month. On a single strong trading day (December 9), he estimated an additional 5–10 million XRP would be absorbed based on $32.81 million in combined ETF trading volume, led by Franklin Templeton, Canary Capital, and Bitwise.

Steingraber argues this ETF-driven supply tightening could propel XRP from around $2 to $10 in under a year—a 400% surge. He contrasts this with Bitcoin's post-ETF trajectory, suggesting XRP's move could be faster. At the time of reporting, XRP was trading at approximately $2.07.
