Over the following two to three years, it intends to expand multiparty computation capabilities to support lattice-based and other post-quantum signature algorithms. Coinbase is also cataloging every cryptographic system across its business and reviewing Ethereum's post-quantum roadmap for its Layer-2 network, Base.

In parallel, the consortium will co-host a Bitcoin post-quantum working session with Stanford University this August, convening Bitcoin Core developers, researchers, and cryptographers to discuss migration strategies.
