A new wave of technical and cyclical analysis suggests Bitcoin may be approaching a critical turning point, with the probability of a long-term trend reversal increasing even as short-term weakness remains possible. Two independent market assessments converge on the possibility of one last corrective move before a broader recovery takes shape.
According to data from CryptoQuant, cyclical indicators now point to a growing chance of a trend reversal. The analysis highlights that Bitcoin has reached the upper boundary of a key price range, which historically precedes a shift in medium- to long-term momentum. “Since the price has already reached the corresponding upper edge, the medium- to long-term probabilities of a cyclical trend reversal are increasing,” the report states. While the market could still experience a final sell-off, the outlook is becoming more constructive.
Meanwhile, a separate technical review from TradingView focuses on the short-term formation of a bearish head and shoulders pattern. The Bitcoin price has returned to the pattern’s neckline, and a rejection would likely result in a measured move down to around $60,000—potentially even extending to the bottom of a descending channel. However, the analysis also points to bullish signals: Stochastic RSI indicators on daily and weekly timeframes are approaching oversold zones without major price damage, and the overall structure resembles a bottoming pattern rather than a bear flag.
Both sources agree that investors should monitor technical levels, on-chain data, and macroeconomic conditions closely. A final sell-off could flush out leveraged positions and set a stronger foundation, while failure of the bearish pattern may signal that bulls are regaining control. Although the weekly stochastic still holds the risk of a bearish crossover, the longer-term view is tilting towards a potential breakout from the descending channel.
