The number of wallets holding tokenized stocks has broken the 1 million mark, reaching 1,020,510 according to data from RWA.xyz. This represents a 33% jump in just over a week, up from 766,366 eight days earlier. A year ago, the total stood at a mere 58,999 holders — a staggering 17.3x increase. Tokenized equities now account for 62.8% of the 1.62 million total on-chain RWA holders, up from just 13.1% last August.
The latest wave of growth came primarily from bStocks, Binance’s tokenized securities arm operated by BTech Holdings under an Abu Dhabi Global Market license. bStocks launched on June 11 and its total value climbed 93.25% over 30 days to $559.2 million, overtaking xStocks ($540.8 million) for the second spot in platform value. Ondo still leads with $854.1 million, however its market share is eroding as the field expands.
The most popular tokenized stock is SpaceX on bStocks, boasting around 107,000 holders. NVIDIA’s tokenized shares split across xStock (64K) and Robinhood Token (33K) trail behind. Robinhood’s tokenized stock value rose 125.2% to $27.1 million, yet remains a small fraction of the market at 1.17% across 94 assets.
Distributed tokenized stock value across the top ten platforms totals roughly $2.3 billion, meaning the average wallet holds about $2,250. Growth is being driven by retail-sized positions, not institutional volume, and whether holder counts and total value converge will be a key metric to watch into Q4.
