U.S. crypto-linked equities posted broad gains on Tuesday as Bitcoin and other major digital assets held a steady trading range. Strategy (MSTR), formerly MicroStrategy and the largest corporate Bitcoin holder, climbed 4.74%, while Coinbase (COIN) added 1.64%. Circle (CRCL), issuer of USDC, advanced 4.2% following recent updates on its public listing and stablecoin market share. Bitmine (BMNR) rose 4.3%, and SharpLink (SBET) gained 2.64%.
The advance reflects a wider improvement in risk appetite across technology and digital asset sectors, with investors monitoring Federal Reserve policy signals and upcoming economic data. Bitcoin's stability near recent levels has eased volatility concerns, making crypto-exposed equities more attractive to traders.
In a related institutional move, the Royal Bank of Canada increased its stake in Strategy by 46,001 shares valued at about $4.45 million, bringing its total position to 385,002 shares worth roughly $37.2 million, according to BitcoinTreasuries.net. The purchase follows an earlier first-quarter expansion when RBC added 295,829 MSTR shares, raising its position to 339,001 shares.
Analysts view RBC's continued accumulation as a sign that traditional financial institutions are using Strategy shares as a regulated proxy for Bitcoin exposure. As one of Canada's largest banks, RBC's positioning could encourage other conventional banks to consider similar indirect crypto allocations, further bridging conventional finance and digital assets.
