XRP Ledger node operators are being urged to upgrade to xrpld version 3.3.0 as the network moves toward enabling a set of new feature amendments. According to an alert shared by XRP Ledger Operations on August 23, 2026, more than 60% of XRP Ledger nodes have already updated to the new version.
The release introduces several amendments alongside bug fixes and build improvements. These include BatchV1_1 for atomic batch transactions, ConfidentialTransfer for privacy-preserving Multi-Purpose Token transfers, DynamicMPT for Multi-Purpose Token properties that issuers can make permanently immutable, PermissionDelegationV1_1 for granular account permission delegation, and Sponsor for reserve and transaction sponsoring.
The alert highlights the importance of upgrading to avoid amendment blocking. When an amendment is enabled, servers running earlier versions of xrpld without the amendment's source code no longer understand the network rules. Rather than guess and misinterpret ledger data, these servers become amendment-blocked and cannot determine ledger validity, submit or process transactions, participate in consensus, or vote on future amendments.
Additionally, the fixCleanup3_3_0 amendment has reached 68.57% consensus, moving closer to the required 80% threshold. This amendment bundles fixes for Single Asset Vaults, the Lending Protocol, Automated Market Makers, the permissioned DEX, Checks, and pseudo-accounts. Specific fixes address hybrid offers being removed from the open order book when an account loses access to a permissioned domain, Automated Market Maker liquidity inclusion in quality estimates for permissioned DEX order books, and precision and rounding fixes for Single Asset Vaults and the Lending Protocol.
