More than $1.535 billion worth of previously locked crypto tokens are scheduled to enter circulating supply over the next month, according to data from Tokenomist. The schedule, highlighted by Wu Blockchain on September 2, points to a busy period for supply dynamics across several major altcoin projects.
Token unlocks release restricted tokens held by investors, team members, foundations, or ecosystem incentive programs. While they do not automatically trigger selling, they increase available supply and can affect market liquidity, sentiment, and price action depending on how recipients manage their new holdings.
One-time unlocks exceeding $10 million include HYPE, XPL, ENA, ZRO, H, CARDS, and ARB. Linear unlocks worth more than $10 million per month include RAIN, SOL, CC, TRUMP, ZEC, ASTER, WLD, MORPHO, PUMP, TAO, AVAX, and NEAR. Cliff unlocks distribute a large amount on a single date, while linear unlocks release tokens gradually over time.
Traders will monitor whether demand is sufficient to absorb the additional supply, especially for major one-time unlocks, which represent a sharper short-term increase in circulating tokens.
