Pendle has significantly expanded its decentralized finance ecosystem with two announcements on September 4, 2026. The protocol launched USDx and sUSDx, new fixed income products aimed at institutional traders, and separately confirmed its official deployment on the Robinhood Chain.
The fixed income markets were announced via Pendle’s official Twitter account. The products are designed to enhance market depth, attract larger trading volumes, and provide higher multipliers for Axis points. Pendle is targeting institutional participants as part of a broader push to deepen its role in the DeFi fixed income sector.
On the same day, Pendle’s integration with Robinhood Chain introduced native fixed yield and yield trading to that network. The first market, sNET, approaches its maturity date of 17 September 2026. Pendle said more markets are set to follow, and the integration is expected to improve liquidity and trading opportunities by leveraging Robinhood’s user base and infrastructure.
Current trading volume for the newly launched products remains at $0, reflecting a nascent phase. However, the announcements align with growing institutional interest in DeFi and could influence adoption and liquidity in the coming weeks. Market participants are watching user engagement metrics and the rollout of sNET closely.
