Bitget and UNICEF have launched a free online financial literacy module aimed at helping young people understand both traditional money skills and blockchain technology. The module, titled Introduction to Financial Literacy, is available on UNICEF’s Agora learning platform and forms part of the Game Changers Coalition curriculum.
The interactive, self-paced course uses short video lessons, visual materials and quizzes covering supply and demand, budgeting, credit, loans, interest rates and blockchain fundamentals. Learners who complete the programme receive a certificate of completion. The experience also includes Neon Paycheck, a short game set in a futuristic city where players make everyday financial decisions around earning, spending, planning and avoiding scams.
Bitget contributed its blockchain expertise to develop the curriculum’s blockchain chapters. Bitget CEO Gracy Chen appears throughout the module to guide learners through key concepts. Chen said: 'Education has always been important to me. It is one of the reasons I continue teaching as an adjunct professor at HKUST. I have seen how quickly young people learn when they are given the right tools and opportunities. That is why our work with UNICEF is about making those concepts accessible early so young people can build the knowledge and confidence to make informed financial decisions as the system evolves.'
The collaboration builds on Bitget’s 2025 partnership with UNICEF Luxembourg. The Game Changers Coalition has already reached more than 642,000 young people, parents and teachers across Armenia, Brazil, Cambodia, India, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Morocco and South Africa, with expansion planned in Bolivia, Bangladesh and Indonesia in 2026. UNICEF Luxembourg Executive Director Sandra Visscher said the initiative helps make financial literacy education practical, accessible and engaging for young people.
Bitget describes itself as the world’s largest Universal Exchange, serving over 125 million users and offering access to more than 2 million crypto tokens, tokenized stocks, ETFs, commodities, FX and precious metals. The company says educational initiatives alongside product innovation are intended to lower barriers to participation and equip more people to navigate the future of finance.
