Bitcoin’s early bull-market rally is fueling bold forecasts, with analysts mapping a path toward $100,000 in the fourth quarter and a longer-term target of $200,000.
One widely followed crypto analyst, who previously predicted a Bitcoin bottom near $40,000 before reassessing to $54,000, said market structure is now flashing the $200,000 level. The analyst reportedly accumulated Bitcoin between $54,000 and $64,000 and has shifted his portfolio to a 60% Ethereum allocation, expecting ETH to outperform BTC this cycle. He added that bullish signals across altcoin charts point to broader upside for the altcoin market.
On the nearer-term view, Matt Mena, an analyst at digital asset investment firm 21Shares, said conditions are increasingly favorable for Bitcoin to initiate a renewed uptrend toward $100,000 in Q4 2026. Mena cautioned that BTC could retest $75,000 in the short term, but said the likelihood of regaining $80,000 has increased. He estimated Bitcoin could reach $82,000 by the end of the month if conditions remain supportive.
The forecasts imply a market environment with short-term correction risk but a strengthening medium-term bullish outlook. The $75,000 zone is seen as potential support, while a sustained move above $80,000 would mark a significant technical development ahead of the fourth quarter.
