B.AI has crossed into what it calls the trillion-token era, reporting daily throughput above 1.51 trillion tokens just five months after launch. The platform says this represents a more than 71,500-fold increase since inception and was achieved in just over 100 days, compared with roughly two years for early aggregation pioneer OpenRouter. Co-incubated by TRON and YZi Labs, B.AI positions itself between foundation models and AI agents, combining compute routing, decentralized settlement and full-stack agent infrastructure.
The company attributes much of its growth to rising demand for cost-effective Chinese large language models. It aggregates international models such as GPT and Claude alongside Chinese models from partners including Tencent, Alibaba, ByteDance, DeepSeek, Zhipu AI, Kimi and MiniMax. Top-used models on the platform include DeepSeek-V4-Flash, Qwen3.8-Flash and GLM-5.3 Flash. B.AI has also offered model discounts, limited-time free access, tiered API pricing with discounts up to 90%, and developer incentives to convert cost advantages into throughput.
Beyond model routing, B.AI is building a settlement layer for the agent economy. It uses a dual-track payment model that supports Web2 rails such as WeChat Pay, Alipay, UnionPay and Visa, alongside Web3 on-chain settlement channels. Its integration with TRON provides a native payment rail through the TRC-20 USDT ecosystem. As of September 10, total TRC-20 USDT supply surpassed 94.2 billion, setting another record high. B.AI says TRON's capacity supports cross-border compute scheduling and high-frequency automated agent micropayments.
The architecture also includes a full-stack runtime environment for agents, with tools such as Skills and Agent Wallet, plus AI assistants BAIclaw and BAI code. At the protocol layer, B.AI has integrated the x402 payment protocol and the 8004 identity authentication protocol to support trust, identity verification and automated settlement in agent-to-agent commerce. B.AI said its goal is to become the central hub for machine-to-machine value exchange and compute settlement at scale.
