BNB was hovering near $787 on Monday, up roughly 1.8% over 24 hours, after briefly spiking above the psychologically important $800 level during a broad cryptocurrency rebound. Binance market data recorded a 24-hour high around $806.53, placing the exchange-linked token back into a key breakout zone.
The advance came as Bitcoin jumped more than 6%, while Ethereum, Solana, and XRP also posted gains. Declining oil prices, lower Treasury yields, and improving risk appetite drove investors back into higher-beta assets. The move was amplified by a large short squeeze, with more than $1 billion in crypto positions liquidated over the past day and roughly $844 million of that tied to shorts. Forced buying from short liquidations helped lift Bitcoin and spilled over into major altcoins, including BNB.
BNB had already been recovering before the squeeze, moving from around $704 into the $780–$800 resistance zone. After crossing $800 on Sept. 21, the token gave back part of the move and slipped below $790, suggesting sellers remain active around the breakout area.
Beyond price action, BNB Chain activity has been strengthening. Expanding tokenized-stock trading and other onchain applications continue to support network utility, with BNB serving as the gas and utility token across the ecosystem. This underpinned the recent price recovery.
Looking ahead, analysts see $800 as the key line. A sustained reclaim could open the $820–$850 zone, with $900 as a possible longer-term target. If momentum fades, support sits near $750, with a deeper floor around $705.
