Key takeaways:

  • Grok's 24% weekly growth plus Meta's Muse launch signal AI adoption, boosting FET and TAO.
  • AMD's trillion-dollar valuation signals hardware demand, a bullish read-through for decentralized compute coins like RNDR.
  • Watch AI tokens for profit-taking as hype matures; BTC sentiment still steers crypto risk appetite.

SpaceXAI’s Grok Bot surpassed 400,000 users roughly one month after its mid-August launch, reaching 418,000 users as of September 14, according to a Bloomberg report citing a company presentation in London. That figure represents a 24% week-over-week increase. The AI agent is positioned as an enterprise tool, accessible as a standalone app or through SpaceXAI subscription tiers, and can handle tasks across various apps and file types.

On Monday, SpaceXAI also released Grok 4.7, its latest frontier model focused on coding and knowledge work.

Meta’s consumer-focused competitor Muse launched on September 8 in the US and Canada. Sensor Tower data shows Muse was downloaded 730,000 times in its first 10 days, while Apptopia data cited by Reuters put first-12-day downloads at 2.8 million. Muse holds the No. 1 free app spot on Apple’s App Store in the United States and also ranks as the top free app on Google Play. Meta offers a free tier plus paid plans at $20 and $100 per month.

Investor reaction has been substantial. Meta shares have risen more than 20% since Muse launched, adding over $200 billion to the company’s market value and pushing the stock to its highest closing level in more than seven months. Jefferies estimates Muse could generate $10.8 billion in annualized revenue if it reaches one billion users by the end of 2027 with at least 3% subscribing to a paid plan. JPMorgan said Muse has the potential to become the most widely used consumer AI application since ChatGPT, while Bank of America highlighted user satisfaction with multi-step tasks. UBS said the launch may be an early sign that consumer AI agents are reaching a much wider audience.

The AI excitement also lifted chipmakers. AMD crossed the $1 trillion valuation mark for the first time, and Intel also saw gains as investors bet that wider AI agent adoption could increase demand for computing hardware.
