Key takeaways:

  • Multi-asset platform awards signal deeper crypto integration into traditional brokerage infrastructure, not a token-specific catalyst.
  • Brokers adding crypto exposure may boost retail access, but regulatory risks remain key.
  • Watch liquidity competition from cFinancial and Match-Trader as structural trend, not price driver.

Two major trading technology providers claimed top honors at Forex Expo Dubai 2026, held 22–23 September at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Match-Trade Technologies’ flagship platform Match-Trader was named Best Multi-Asset Trading Platform, while Spotware Systems’ cTrader won Best Platform Provider.

Match-Trader’s award highlighted its catalogue of thousands of symbols across FX, indices, commodities, equities and cryptocurrencies. The platform also supports prediction market contracts on politics, sports, crypto and economics, which can run standalone or alongside an existing FX and CFD line-up. Match-Trade says instruments already inside its ecosystem can be activated within minutes, while assets outside the current selection can be added on request. The web-based platform uses PWA technology, giving brokers and prop firms one interface across desktop, mobile and tablet. More than 200 brokers and prop firms currently run on Match-Trader.

Serhii Poplavskyi, Head of the Match-Trader Platform, said: “This recognition reflects our commitment to building products that solve real trading problems. Match-Trader combines flexible market access with modern UX design and solid execution infrastructure. Our clients can onboard traders faster, retain them longer, and expand into new asset classes without technology risk.”

Spotware Systems used the event to showcase cTrader Leads, its built-in acquisition channel, as well as new AI-powered capabilities including MCP servers for trading and the cTrader CLI. The company also presented cBridge, its fixed-price liquidity bridge for all platforms, and introduced cFinancial, a new institutional liquidity provider offering multi-asset liquidity across FX, metals, indices, energy, crypto and synthetics. Spotware highlighted the Markout Report, a cBridge tool designed to identify potentially toxic flow patterns before losses accumulate.

Spotware says cTrader is trusted by more than 12 million traders and more than 300 brokers and prop firms worldwide. Match-Trade Technologies was founded in 2013, while Spotware Systems was founded in 2010 and is based in Limassol, Cyprus. Neither announcement named specific cryptocurrency tokens or projects directly affected by the platform updates.
