The Digital Assets Association (DAA) Singapore has confirmed that the second edition of the Digital Assets Summit 2026 (DAS2026) will take place on 6 October at SGX Centre in Singapore. The event is expected to draw more than 500 attendees, over 40 speakers, and at least 30 industry partners from financial institutions, technology providers, regulators, and the digital-asset sector.
The summit arrives as Asia strengthens its position in digital finance. According to DAA, the region now accounts for 60% of global stablecoin payment volume, while digital real-world assets on public blockchains grew by around 300% in 2025 to approximately US$30 billion. Organizers say this reflects broader adoption across payments, capital markets, and financial infrastructure.
Danny Chong, Co-Chairman of DAA Singapore, said the industry debate has moved beyond experimentation. “Two years ago, much of the conversation was about whether tokenised assets would move beyond experimentation. Today, the question is no longer whether tokenisation will move beyond the sandbox, but how far and how quickly it can scale,” Chong said. He added that the next phase is about building for scale, managing liquidity and risk in a 24/7 environment, and meeting cross-border regulatory requirements.
The programme will cover tokenised bonds, funds, real-world assets, stablecoins, and tokenised deposits across payments, treasury, and foreign exchange. Discussions will also address the changing role of financial intermediaries, cybersecurity, fraud prevention, compliance, operational resilience, AI in finance, and interoperability between global markets.
Chia Hock Lai, Co-Chairman of DAA Singapore and Chairman of the Responsible Fintech Institute, said that as digital assets integrate with mainstream finance, governance and security must keep pace with innovation. “Asia’s progress shows how innovation can develop with safeguards and standards in place, and DAS2026 brings that into focus to examine what that looks like in practice,” he said.
Confirmed participants include Senior Minister of State Desmond Tan, former Deputy Prime Minister and National Research Foundation Singapore Chairman Heng Swee Keat, and Singapore Exchange Chief Risk Officer Ivan Han. The summit is supported by Sumsub, DBS, Safeheron, Integral, Northern Trust, SGX FX, TRM Labs, Elliptic, BitGo, OKX, RHTLaw, and Coinbase.
