BTCC, described as the world’s longest-serving cryptocurrency exchange and a Platinum Sponsor of TOKEN2049 Singapore, has launched a refreshed Trust Center as it marks 15 years in operation. The update was announced on October 7, 2026 from George Town, Cayman Islands, and reflects the exchange’s long-running emphasis on security and resilience through bull and bear markets, extreme volatility, and changing regulations.
Alex Hung, BTCC’s Head of Operations, said the exchange's track record is the result of a “continuous pressure test,” adding: “Any exchange can be built to grow. The harder thing to build is the resilience to last.” He emphasized that users entrust the platform with assets and trust, so security is foundational, not merely a selling point.
The refreshed Trust Center aggregates several safeguards and transparency measures, including multi-signature cold storage, 1:1 asset storage, multi-layer risk monitoring, and 24/7 AML controls. Independent security audits are conducted by CertiK, with support from Chainalysis, Forter, and SEON. BTCC also reports monthly Proof of Reserves with a total reserve ratio of 100%, maintains a $25.5 million Risk Reserve Fund, and states it has recorded $0 in hacker theft since its founding in 2011.
These elements form the exchange’s “0 Panic” commitment within its broader 0-Barrier Trading theme: 0 Panic, 0 Fees across 380+ pairs every week, 0 Distance with 24/7 localized support, and 0 Friction via copy trading and TradingView integration. BTCC has also expanded beyond crypto into US stocks, gold, forex, and commodities, positioning itself as a multi-asset platform.
Hung said the company does not aim to become the biggest exchange but to “raise the standard,” building a more secure, compliant platform connected to global markets. The exchange serves over 12 million users in more than 100 countries and is the official regional sponsor of the Argentine Football Association.
