Block Street is expanding its tokenized-stock infrastructure across ecosystems including Binance bStocks and Bitget, arguing that the next bottleneck is not putting more equities on-chain but connecting the liquidity behind the versions that already exist. Its Aqua network is designed to route execution across issuers and venues through a common interface.
The distinction is important. Two tokens tracking the same listed company may trade on different chains, rely on different custodians and grant different legal rights. They are not necessarily interchangeable simply because their prices refer to the same share. That fragmentation can split market-maker inventory and leave users with uneven execution quality.
Aqua aggregates liquidity sources and exposes them through an institutional API. In conventional securities markets, a comparable challenge is solved by connectivity, market data normalisation and order-routing infrastructure. Blockchain markets add chain interoperability, smart-contract risks and different settlement conventions to that familiar problem. Block Street reports more than $350 million in cumulative routed volume, and the announcement describes integrations supporting Binance and Bitget infrastructure.
Block Street is also developing Everst around lending, borrowing and collateral functions, moving beyond trading into the question of whether a tokenized equity can finance another position without being sold. The company's roadmap also includes fixed income and private-market securities. CEO Hedy Wang said the problem increasingly resembles market structure once the same equity appears across issuers, chains and platforms.
In related market data, Binance bStocks has led the 30-day market cap growth for tokenized Circle exposure, increasing by $45.4 million. xStocks-issued assets gained $10.1 million, Robinhood's stock tokens added $4.3 million. Reality-issued assets fell by $2.8 million, and Ondo-issued assets saw a decline of $17.4 million. Block Street cites more than 55,000 BSB holders and over five million tokens staked, signalling growing interest in the tokenized equities sector.
