US-listed Ethereum exchange-traded funds recorded $320.1 million in net outflows during the week of October 12–16, 2026, according to data from SoSoValue. BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust accounted for $299 million of those redemptions, representing approximately 93% of the weekly total.
The withdrawals point to softer demand through regulated investment products and add pressure to near-term sentiment. However, ETF flows alone do not establish how liquidity has changed across the wider Ethereum market.
Despite the outflows, ETH held above its hourly 20-period and 50-period moving averages and remained above the daily 200-period moving average. Still, it was trading below the 20-day and 50-day moving averages, indicating that the recent recovery has not fully reversed the broader weakness.
The key support area sits at $2,380–$2,383, while resistance is near $2,479. A sustained breakout above the upper boundary would favor a stronger recovery, while a daily close below support could increase the risk of renewed weakness.
Momentum readings were mixed. The one-hour RSI stood at 62.62, Stochastic RSI indicated overbought conditions, and the Commodity Channel Index remained positive but below its overbought threshold. The hourly MACD and Bull/Bear Power favored buyers, but the daily RSI remained below 50 and daily MACD stayed negative. The ADX near 25 indicated moderate trend strength rather than a firmly established directional move.
Overall, Ethereum’s near-term position reflects competing signals: persistent ETF withdrawals on one side and relatively firm technical momentum on the other. Holding the $2,380–$2,383 area would preserve the consolidation scenario, while a decisive move above $2,479 could provide clearer evidence of a broader recovery.
