XRP has extended its decline into a key demand zone near $1.30, giving up more of September’s recovery. On the daily chart, the token has slipped into the highlighted $1.24–$1.32 demand zone after failing to hold a rebound around $1.40. Consecutive bearish candles show sellers remain in control, with price now approaching the area that supported September’s strong advance.
A stabilization followed by a sustained reclaim of $1.32 would be the first sign that demand is returning, potentially opening a move toward the $1.38–$1.42 resistance area where the previous rebound stalled. Conversely, continued weakness through the lower boundary near $1.24 would undermine the September base and increase the risk of a deeper correction toward $1.11–$1.17.
On the 4-hour chart, XRP continues to trade within a descending channel. Recoveries have repeatedly stalled near the midpoint, and the latest decline has pushed price into the $1.27–$1.31 support zone near the channel’s lower boundary. XRP first needs to reclaim $1.31 and the descending midpoint around $1.32–$1.33 to interrupt the short-term bearish sequence, followed by the $1.34–$1.35 swing highs and the channel’s upper boundary near $1.39–$1.40. If buyers fail to defend $1.27, price could revisit the wick lows around $1.25, and acceptance below the channel would suggest accelerating selling pressure.
More Crypto Online points to a descending trendline that has controlled XRP’s decline after it traded above $1.50 earlier in October. XRP was trading around $1.31 on the one-hour Bitstamp chart at the time of the analysis. The chart shows a possible five-wave decline, with the recent move into roughly $1.24–$1.25 labelled as Wave 5 and Wave C of the broader correction. If that count is correct, the latest low may have completed the bearish sequence.
The first bullish confirmation would be holding $1.29–$1.30 and establishing above the trendline. From there, the 50% Fibonacci level at $1.29295 was already being tested, with the first meaningful resistance around $1.42–$1.43, roughly 9% above $1.31. The next resistance sits near $1.53, about 17% higher, followed by a larger resistance zone around $1.65, roughly 26% above the chart price. However, the bullish setup would be invalidated if XRP loses the recent $1.24–$1.25 low. Below that, the 61.8% Fibonacci retracement is near $1.21237 and the 78.6% retracement near $1.10623, with the main support area around $1.10–$1.11. The key first test is $1.42–$1.43; until XRP reclaims that level, it remains an encouraging attempt to reverse the short-term decline rather than a confirmed trend change.
