The XRP price slipped to around $1.29 on 20 October, down about 5% from $1.37 a week earlier, as US spot XRP ETFs posted their first weekly net outflow in 13 weeks and traders turned cautious ahead of the Federal Reserve's 27-28 October meeting.
According to market data, XRP traded in a 24-hour range of roughly $1.26 to $1.32 on 19 October before falling about 1% on the day. Technical analysts are watching support near $1.26 and resistance between $1.35 and $1.40. A daily close below support could open room for a deeper pullback, while a move above $1.40 would signal renewed buyer control.
The ETF flow reversal is a key pressure point. In the week to 16 October, US spot XRP exchange-traded funds recorded a small net outflow of about 1.8 million XRP, worth roughly $2.3 million, ending a 13-week inflow streak. The Bitwise XRP ETF remains the largest with about $541 million in net assets as of 17 October, while Franklin Templeton's XRPZ holds around $390 million. Although the outflow is modest, traders have treated ETF flows as a gauge of institutional appetite.
On the stock market, Evernorth, a Ripple-backed XRP treasury company, began trading on Nasdaq under the ticker XRPN after completing a SPAC merger with Armada Acquisition Corp. II. The company holds about 473 million XRP and has raised more than $1 billion, with investors including Ripple, SBI Group, Pantera Capital, Kraken and GSR. On 14 October, Evernorth said it would begin deploying part of its XRP treasury with Ripple, Kraken, Coinbase and BitGo.
Broader crypto conditions were soft: Ethereum traded near $2,380, Solana near $104 and Bitcoin near $81,400 on 20 October, all slightly lower on the day. The next major macro test is the Fed meeting on 27-28 October, because crypto has been trading as a risk asset through 2026.
Separately, the article highlighted Peptide Swap ($PEPS), a crypto presale building a marketplace for the peptide community. Its alpha marketplace went live on 17 October, listing research compounds such as BPC-157, TB-500, Melanotan II and CJC-1295. The presale is sold on Ethereum for ETH, USDT or USDC, with round-one tokens priced at $0.01 and round two at $0.0133. As of 20 October, the project reported about $29,148 raised, roughly 49% of the round-one target, with a total target of $2 million and a planned token launch date of 21 September 2027.
The peptide narrative gained traction after the US Department of Health and Human Services sent the White House a plan to let pharmacies compound popular peptides including BPC-157. The policy is not yet in effect and would apply to licensed compounding pharmacies, not open marketplaces. Hims & Hers Health closed up about 6% on 15 October following the news.
