Reflect Launches One-Transaction Stablecoin Creation on Solana

Key takeaways:

  • Reflect’s Create could deepen Solana stablecoin activity, but yield-sharing models may invite regulatory scrutiny.
  • Competition with PYUSDx and CASH means differentiation hinges on transparent yield-sharing, not novelty.
  • Watch GENIUS Act implementation by 2027, as compliance risk may reshape yield-bearing stablecoin demand.

Reflect has launched “Create” on Solana, a whitelabel-style tool that lets users issue a branded, yield-bearing stablecoin in a single transaction and define how interest is shared between the creator and token holders. Solana’s main account promoted the release, saying the process takes less than a minute.

According to Reflect’s documentation, each created token wraps yield-bearing assets held onchain. Creators can choose one approved collateral asset or combine several in a basket. Eligible collateral must be permissionless and freely transferable; assets with fixed transfer restrictions or investor eligibility requirements are excluded. The technical flow creates the mint, attaches metadata, transfers mint authority to the program, and registers the integration in one transaction.

Interest comes from the underlying collateral, and the creator selects the share retained versus the share passed to holders. Reflect’s example uses collateral earning 5%, with the creator keeping one-fifth: holders receive 4%, while a creator would earn $100,000 annually on $10 million outstanding. The company stresses this is illustrative, not a projection.

Reflect says its intended users include neobanks, fintechs, payroll providers, payment tools, marketplaces, and treasury products. The launch is part of a wider lineup that includes Earn, which offers yield exposure through “plus” assets, and Protect, which divides exposure into senior and junior positions. Offside Labs and Adevar Labs are named as code auditors covering Reflect Core, yield routing, and the whitelabel program.

On compliance, Reflect argues users do not hold reserves themselves because backing assets sit in contracts and holders redeem against those assets. It stops short of determining whether a created token is a security, saying classification depends on structure, marketing, intended buyers, and jurisdiction. The company says contracts enforce no geographic restrictions, leaving applications to decide which markets they serve. Palindrome Engineering Inc., a Delaware corporation, is identified as the service operator.

The launch lands amid broader stablecoin regulatory movement. On Oct. 21, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency announced its GENIUS Act framework, effective Jan. 18, 2027, retaining restrictions on issuer payments of yield solely for holding payment stablecoins. Existing branded stablecoin platforms include PayPal, M0, and MoonPay, which launched PYUSDx publicly on Sept. 9; Stripe’s Bridge Open Issuance, introduced in September 2025, is used by Phantom for CASH.
