Strategy resumed Bitcoin accumulation after a one-week pause, purchasing 811 BTC for approximately $65.5 million between October 26 and November 1. According to the company’s November 2 filing, the acquisition was completed at an average price of $80,846 per coin, bringing Strategy’s total Bitcoin holdings to 849,327 BTC. The purchase was financed by selling 1,178,552 shares of MSTR common stock through its at-the-market offering program, generating about $164 million in net proceeds. Of that amount, $65.5 million went directly to Bitcoin and $98.5 million was added to the company’s USD Cash balance.
Meanwhile, fellow treasury company Strive reported acquiring another 124 BTC for approximately $10 million, at an average cost of $80,526 per bitcoin. The purchase lifted Strive’s total holdings to 43,124 BTC. According to the SEC filing, existing cash funded most of the acquisition, while the SATS ATM was used for the first time and represented 100% of weekly ATM proceeds. Strive’s cash and cash equivalents declined from $504.4 million to $490.4 million, and the company highlighted an amplification ratio of 62.7%. The transaction followed Strive’s record purchase of 6,182 BTC for more than $511 million during the previous reporting period.
Strategy also repurchased 2,092,035 shares of its STRC preferred stock for approximately $208.2 million, spending more than three times as much on preferred buybacks as on Bitcoin during the week. The company reported no preferred-share sales during the period. Its designated USD Reserve stood at $4.79 billion as of November 1, while its separate USD Cash balance reached $132.7 million.
Together, Strategy and Strive bought 935 BTC worth approximately $75.5 million. The disclosures came as Bitcoin traded near $77,700 on November 2, below the average purchase prices reported by both companies and following the October 29 Binance security breach. Strive also continued to hold 505,000 STRC shares issued by Strategy, while its own preferred stock increased by 3,418 shares to 7,003,418 and SATA stocks remained unchanged at just over 14 million.
