XRP and ADA Face Deeper Losses as Bitcoin ETF Outflows Test Key Floors

40 minute ago 2 sources negative

Key takeaways:

  • Bitcoin ETF outflows are transmitting risk to altcoins lacking dedicated ETF demand, pressuring XRP.
  • XRP's oversold RSI near support may tempt buyers, but resistance caps bounces.
  • ADA's steeper downtrend versus XRP signals weaker relative strength; watch $0.17 support for further downside.

Fresh outflows from U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds are deepening pressure on XRP and Cardano (ADA), leaving both altcoins vulnerable near major support levels. The funds posted a net outflow of about $430 million on Nov. 5, following exits of roughly $643 million on Oct. 30 and $636 million on Oct. 22. Cumulative net inflows have slipped from near $58 billion to about $56 billion since late October, reversing the main channel of fresh institutional demand.

XRP traded near $1.16 on Friday, down about 7% over the past week and 18% over the past month. The token trades below its 50-day average near $1.32 and its 200-day average near $1.36, both acting as ceiling resistance. The daily RSI reads 32, close to oversold, while MACD remains below its signal line. The nearest support sits near $0.99, the same zone that launched XRP's August rally to $1.27. Resistance is seen near $1.25 and $1.31. XRP would need to rise about 209% to revisit its July 2025 record near $3.65.

ADA looks weaker. It traded near $0.18 on Friday after a monthly drop of about 28%, and it trades below both its 50-day average near $0.21 and 200-day average near $0.23. RSI is 35, with MACD still below its signal line, and sellers are driving a stronger downtrend than in XRP. Support sits near $0.17, with a break opening the way to $0.16. Resistance is near $0.20 and the 50-day average.

For now, sellers keep the edge. A fresh wave of Bitcoin ETF outflows would likely hit XRP first because it lacks its own spot ETF demand, and ADA would probably follow. Both charts remain below resistance, so bounces could be viewed as selling opportunities.
