Binance has re-enabled withdrawal access for Hyperliquid’s native token HYPE and Aptos’ APT, marking the latest phase in the exchange’s recovery from the October 29 security breach. The update was announced in a November 8 notice, though Binance stressed that not all withdrawal routes have been restored and additional assets and networks will reopen only after individual security checks are completed.
According to market data around the announcement, HYPE traded near $77.12, while APT was near $0.5944. Later intraday figures showed HYPE at about $77.37, down roughly 1.7% over 24 hours, with CoinGecko reporting an $18.53 billion market capitalization and $450.38 million in daily trading volume. HYPE’s intraday range was between $76.69 and $78.14.
Binance’s phased withdrawal restoration had already covered Bitcoin and selected assets across several networks before the latest update. The company previously outlined plans to reopen six altcoins, and HYPE and APT are now confirmed in the newest group. The exchange also listed assets already available for withdrawal, including stablecoins such as RLUSD, USD1, TUSD, FDUSD and XUSD on Ethereum, as well as LINK, SHIB, ONDO, PENDLE and Worldcoin. On Solana, the available assets included BONK, Jupiter, Render, Raydium and Pyth.
Broader Hyperliquid market context shows separate pressures. On-chain data indicated the Hyperliquidity Provider vault recorded $38.2 million in withdrawals, with its value down about 20% from September’s peak. U.S. spot ETFs reportedly posted $7.96 million in net outflows on November 6, while coverage flagged a whale’s $33 million short position on HYPE. These flows may reflect lower participation or liquidity, but they do not automatically confirm token sales or a decisive price catalyst.
Binance has not yet confirmed whether INJ, PLASMA, NEAR or LTC have cleared their security checks. Users are advised to check the selected asset and network before initiating withdrawals, as availability varies by blockchain route.
