SimpleSwap, the self-custodial swap aggregator, has integrated $ADI, the native token of ADI Chain, providing a seamless wallet-to-wallet onboarding path. As of July 23, 2026, users can swap any of the 2,800+ supported assets directly into $ADI without creating an exchange account, depositing funds, or giving up control of their private keys.
The integration addresses a common pain point: acquiring gas tokens for a new blockchain typically requires a centralized exchange account, undermining the self-custody principle. Now, users simply choose a source asset, enter their ADI Chain wallet address, and receive $ADI instantly. SimpleSwap routes the conversion across 20+ liquidity providers, offering both a fixed rate (locked for 20 minutes) for predictable gas top-ups and a floating rate that tracks the market.
Ivan Branitskiy, Head of DeFi at ADI Foundation, emphasized that the chain serves institutions, governments, and individuals, and that direct access to $ADI is crucial for adoption. Stefan Lauer, Head of Infrastructure at SimpleSwap, added that no one should need an exchange account just to obtain gas.
ADI Foundation’s ambition to onboard one billion users by 2030 hinges on eliminating technical barriers. The foundation collaborates with major entities like BlackRock, Mastercard, and Franklin Templeton on tokenization, stablecoins, and digital identity. SimpleSwap, operational since 2018, has serviced over 10 million users and processed more than 20 million swaps, aggregating liquidity from both CEX and DEX sources.
