Binance has confirmed that tokenized stock dividends for Microsoft’s bStock (MSFTB) and Applied Materials’ bStock (AMATB) are now available in eligible users’ Spot Wallets. The distributions were credited to holders who maintained their tokens prior to August 20, 2026.
Microsoft distributed $0.91 per share in additional MSFTB tokens, while Applied Materials paid $0.53 per share in AMATB. The Microsoft dividend confirmation was highlighted in a tweet from Binance, underscoring the exchange’s push to integrate traditional equities into the crypto ecosystem.
The announcements reflect a broader trend toward tokenization of traditional assets. By allowing investors to hold fractional shares of stocks in digital form, bStocks could improve liquidity and make traditional securities more accessible to a wider range of crypto users. The dividends are paid as additional bStock tokens rather than cash, reinforcing the digital asset structure.
Trading activity for both tokenized stocks remains limited. Microsoft bStock’s trading volume is currently inactive, while Applied Materials’ AMATB has no recorded trading volume. The dividend distributions may stimulate fresh interest from retail and institutional investors, potentially increasing trading volumes if market conditions improve.
Traders are likely to monitor whether these tokenized dividend payments attract more attention to Binance’s bStock products and whether other platforms introduce similar tokenization strategies. The move highlights the continuing convergence of traditional finance and blockchain technology.
