Key takeaways:

  • Strive's aggressive BTC accumulation signals corporate treasury demand remains a structural tailwind for Bitcoin.
  • Warrant exercises and SATA's 13% yield highlight dilution risks for ASST holders funding BTC purchases.
  • Watch BTC reaction to treasury announcements; Strive's buying pace may signal institutional demand.

Strive has purchased another 3,311 BTC over the past week, bringing its total Bitcoin treasury to 32,773 BTC, CEO Matt Cole announced on October 13, 2026.

The latest addition raised the company's holdings from 29,462 BTC, an increase of approximately 11.2%. It ranks as one of Strive's largest weekly Bitcoin acquisitions since it began expanding its treasury in 2025. The company did not disclose the total purchase cost or average acquisition price for this specific buy.

Cole also reported that investors exercised about $208 million worth of warrants ahead of the October 13 deadline. Around 15.3 million warrants remained outstanding, with holders required to exercise them by 5 p.m. Eastern Time that day. Earlier SEC filings set an exercise price of $27 per share, adjusted for the company's previous reverse stock split.

Strive also formalized a $100 minimum issuance price for its SATA preferred shares, making the restriction binding in its governing documents. The company had previously said it would not issue SATA shares through at-the-market or follow-on programs below that level. SATA has been a key financing instrument for Strive's Bitcoin treasury strategy, with the board maintaining a 13% annual dividend rate for periods beginning October 1 and daily cash distributions of $0.0516 per share for business days in October.

Strive's Bitcoin holdings have grown through market purchases and its January 2026 combination with Semler Scientific, which brought an existing Bitcoin treasury into the company. The company has also expanded its capital-raising programs, including a June plan to add up to $4.2 billion split between ASST common stock and SATA preferred shares.
