Robinhood Chain has crossed a significant on-chain milestone, with DefiLlama data showing nearly $30 billion in 30-day decentralized exchange volume and a 24-hour DEX turnover around $490 million. The network’s DeFi total value locked remains above $1.13 billion, supported by more than $1 billion in stablecoin market cap. Uniswap accounts for the largest share of trading volume at over $24 billion, with additional activity coming from protocols such as Fables, RamsesX and Metric.
However, momentum appears uneven. Weekly DEX volume reached $5.255 billion, down 23.1% from the previous seven days, while perpetual futures volume fell 4.62% to $6.869 billion. A chart shared by DJ Griffith placed Robinhood Chain behind Solana, BNB Chain and Base in seven-day average daily DEX volume, drawing criticism and a call for CEO Vlad Tenev to act. Others defended the network, arguing that tokenized-stock adoption and builder growth require longer timelines.
The ecosystem continues to develop real-world asset and lending infrastructure. DefiLlama tracks roughly $330 million in active real-world assets and $2.474 billion in bridged TVL. Robinhood has confirmed stock-token collateral borrowing through Morpho, allowing eligible holders to pledge Stock Tokens and borrow stablecoins. September DEX volume was far higher at $53.26 billion, compared with $19 billion in August and about $21.1 billion in the current October tracking period.
Adding to speculation, Robinhood posted a cryptic message on Oct. 26: “The stars are aligning. Tomorrow.” No details were provided, and the company has not announced a native Robinhood Chain token or airdrop. Developer documentation identifies ETH as the network’s native gas token, making Ethereum the primary crypto asset directly tied to Robinhood Chain usage.
