Solana has moved deeper into traditional finance through a new partnership with PrimeRevenue, which plans to bring its Electronic Time Drafts (ETDs) on-chain on Solana.
The initiative is intended to cover more than 50,000 companies and facilitate over $300 billion in annual payment transactions, according to the announcement highlighted by crypto commentator @SolanaFloor.
PrimeRevenue’s ETD program is a trade finance instrument used by corporations; bringing it on-chain could reduce settlement friction and improve transparency. The move aligns with a broader trend of legacy financial players exploring decentralized infrastructure.
In a separate but related development, Solana has also reclaimed the top spot in weekly tokenized equities spot DEX volume, signaling renewed activity in tokenized real-world assets on the network.
Traders are watching whether these adoption signals translate into sustained network usage and potential volatility, given the broader market remains mixed.
