Crypto.com and OG.com have launched regulated cryptocurrency perpetual futures for eligible US traders, offering up to 5x leverage on long and short positions without fixed expiration dates. The products are distributed through OG.com's network, including the Crypto.com App for retail users and the Crypto.com Exchange for institutional and advanced traders, according to the official announcement.
The launch follows a shift in US regulatory posture this year. In May, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission clarified that perpetual products can be listed within the US futures framework subject to review. A separate May staff action treated certain digital commodity perpetuals as foreign futures for Coinbase Financial Markets and Deribit, and in June the CFTC granted no-action relief allowing designated contract markets to convert perpetual-style digital commodity futures into true perpetual futures.
Crypto.com registered as an Introducing Broker with the National Futures Association, enabling it to distribute the products through OG.com's infrastructure. The platform includes risk-management tools such as take-profit and stop-loss orders and allows continuous trading outside traditional market hours. The 5x leverage cap is notably lower than offshore perpetual venues, where leverage can reach 50x to 100x and greatly increases liquidation risk. Funding-rate mechanics also remain a core cost consideration for traders holding positions over time.
The move places Crypto.com alongside Coinbase and Kraken in the growing regulated US crypto derivatives market. Coinbase has pursued access through its regulated futures business and Deribit infrastructure, while Kraken launched US perpetuals after acquiring Bitnomial. The broader trend suggests regulated perpetual futures could shift crypto derivatives volume from offshore venues toward domestic platforms, improving price discovery and liquidity.
Elsewhere, Outpoll Trading has expanded multi-asset perpetual access globally, though it restricts users in the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Union, and Singapore. Outpoll's platform, which debuted its trading interface on October 15, 2026, supports more than 100 perpetual markets across crypto, stocks, indices and commodities with leverage up to 100x. Its crypto section lists over 80 assets, including Bitcoin (BTC), Solana (SOL), XRP, Hyperliquid (HYPE) and Dogecoin (DOGE), and offers inverse perpetual contracts for BTCUSD, ETHUSD, SOLUSD and LTCUSD. However, the new Crypto.com and OG.com offering marks a different route: bringing perpetual-style exposure inside the regulated US derivatives framework rather than operating offshore.
The arrival of more regulated perpetual products in the US expands the toolkit for hedging, volatility trading and leveraged positioning. It also increases the importance of understanding margin, funding and liquidation mechanics for traders moving from spot crypto into leveraged derivatives.
