Bullish, the NYSE-listed crypto exchange, has selected Solana, Aptos and Ethereum as the first blockchain networks for its expanded issuer-backed stock tokenization service. The decision, announced on November 3, 2026, gives companies seeking to issue shares across multiple networks more options while keeping the official ownership record unchanged.
The move follows a live demonstration at the New York Stock Exchange on October 27, 2026. During that demonstration, Bullish CEO Tom Farley and Equiniti CEO Dan Kramer moved 61 million reserved Bullish shares ($BLSH) on Solana in seconds. Farley also showed how companies could distribute digital rewards directly to shareholders, highlighting the product’s settlement speed and flexibility.
Thomas Cowan, Bullish’s Head of Tokenization, said the goal is to make these digital assets available across the most relevant ecosystems for institutional investors. Issuing companies should be able to choose the network that best fits their operations while the transfer agent maintains custody of the official record.
Bullish is emphasizing that its official issuer-backed model differs from third-party synthetic stock tokens that have triggered legal disputes with traditional issuers. The company says this approach is designed to accelerate corporate adoption of real-world assets under strict regulatory compliance. Bullish also expects the final closing of its $4.2 billion acquisition of Equiniti in early 2027, a step it says will strengthen its decentralized securities settlement infrastructure.
The announcement comes amid broader tension around tokenized equities, with Amazon, Tesla and SpaceX reportedly among 56 firms opposing OKX’s tokenized stocks plan. Bullish’s officially backed multichain strategy positions it as a more compliance-focused alternative.
